Hello everyone,

My name is Karla, and as of today, an amazing day in October 2021, I am a 33 year old woman. I am proudly Luna’s mom, and she barely turned 4 years old. I am married to Oscar, and he has been my best friend and partner in life for the last 13 years. I became a registered nurse when I was 22 years old, and I have been a nurse practitioner since I was 28. After a few years, I realized that aesthetic medicine is my true passion, and I honestly love injecting hyaluronic acid for a living, and the satisfaction I get from seeing patients’ smiles is gratifying beyond words. Now, I specialize in preventative aesthetic medicine, and I love enhancing my patients’ own beauty with a diverse variety of products. I started my aesthetic business in March of 2018. It has been almost 4 years, and I could not be happier.

A little bit more about me… after all, this is all about who I am… I was an introvert in my early 20s, and in my mid-20s, I became a complete and happy extrovert woman… Nursing got the worst out of me, since I felt there was no time to stay quiet, feel oppressed, or just let “injustice” happen… it was like a “waking-up” cold shower from thinking that I was “just” a nurse to “wow, I am a nurse.” I started to feel proud of who I was, and I started to realize that I could do more for patients, my family, and myself. It took me 3 years after that moment to complete a MSN-FNP program, and I am grateful I could accomplish this for me and my family.
